Process of raw hair harvesting
Washing the hair to remove dirt and filter out loose hairs.
Determine whether the hair is remi or not (i.e. whether the hair is pointing in one direction or not, because if not, the hair is as good as useless).
After washing and subsequent combing, there is a loss of between 15-30% of the original weight of the hair, which is why washed hair is always more expensive than unwashed hair.
